What the integration does
The Veeval cTrader integration is designed to obtain authorised real-time market data, instrument information and account information for market monitoring, source-quality validation, research and visualisation inside Veeval-controlled systems.
Initial permission scope
Veeval initially requests access to information on the user's authorised account only. The integration is not intended to place, modify or close trades through the cTrader Open API and does not request trade-execution permission for this initial implementation.
How cTrader data is used
Authorised cTrader data may be normalised and compared with other authorised market-data sources to detect stale feeds, outages, spread anomalies and price divergence, and to improve the reliability of Veeval Market Intelligence.
Authentication and security
Veeval uses the official cTrader OAuth authorisation flow. Client credentials, access tokens and refresh tokens are treated as confidential backend secrets and are not intentionally exposed in public website source code, public repositories or browser-visible pages.
Revoking access
The connected account holder may revoke Veeval's cTrader authorisation using controls provided by cTrader or the relevant connected service. Veeval can also disconnect the integration from its server-side configuration.
Independent service
Veeval is an independent platform. References to cTrader identify the third-party platform and API being integrated and do not imply endorsement, sponsorship or partnership unless expressly stated.
